Clément Thoby was born in 1991 and grew up in Nantes.
He studied applied arts in Paris, at the Estienne school and then at the Sainte-Geneviève Institute. He then specialized in animation cinema by joining the EMCA of Angoulême. Passionate about color, he worked for five years as a decorator and artistic director for animation productions. He is now an illustrator, working for the international press, communications agencies, brands...
His work consists mainly of landscapes with pastels from his travels, whether real or mental.
Clément Thoby naît en 1991 et grandit à Nantes.
Il étudie les arts appliqués à Paris, à l'école Estienne puis à l'Institut Sainte-Geneviève. Il se spécialise par la suite dans le cinéma d'animation en intégrant l'EMCA d'Angoulême.
Passionné par la couleur, il travaille pendant cinq ans en tant que décorateur et directeur artistique pour des productions d’animation. Il mène désormais une activité d’illustrateur, travaillant pour la presse internationale, des agences de communications, des marques...
Son travail se compose principalement de paysages aux pastels issus de ses voyages, qu'ils soient réels ou mentaux.
